Migration and culture

Dance, cinema, culture, exhibitions, music: promoting access to culture has been one of the priorities of the APDH since its creation in 2008. The Association is in fact convinced that culture reinforces equality between people. migrants and indigenous people.

We are implementing several actions aimed at promoting accessibility to culture by organizing cultural visits, thematic “culture” cafés on inclusion in society through art, with a particular emphasis on parent-child activities. .

We also organize film screenings via our film club to anchor the practice of cinema and debate and communicate information on culture in Geneva (cultural checkbook, youth card, functioning of different institutions, etc.). Several of these activities are preceded by a round table.

A discussion and evaluation ensues. It is a program very appreciated by our audience. Each activity has more than 25 participants. These activities are sometimes mixed. This program is supported by the cultural department of the City of Geneva.
